Beyond
Beyond is a Hong Kong rock band that was formed in 1983. They gained popularity in the 1980s and 1990s with their melodic rock sound and meaningful lyrics. The band consisted of lead vocalist Wong Ka Kui, guitarist Paul Wong, bassist Yip Sai Wing, and drummer Yip Siu Hong. Their music often addressed social issues and touched the hearts of many listeners. Beyond's emotional and energetic performances made them one of the most successful and influential bands in the Cantopop genre.
